Angus Buchan Thought of The Day
Mark 11:22 Have Faith in Jesus Christ
Angus Buchan shares this Easter message on Resurrection Sunday from Quarantine at his home, Shalom Farm, in Greytown. Special guest, Henry Pike, leads us in worship from his home. With an unstable internet connection on the farm, we thank you for your understanding if the signal is not perfect.
Are you worried what the future hold?
Be concerned what you face today. Face things one step at a time.
Nehemiah 8:10 The joy of the Lord is my strength.
Luke 12:22 Jesus says Therefore I say to you, "Do not worry about your live, what you will eat nor about the body what you will put on, life is more than food and the body more than what you will put on. Consider the ravens for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither store house nor barn, and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds? And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature. If you then are not able to do the least? why are you acious for the rest. consider the lilies how they grow, they neither toil nor spin, and yet I say to you even Solomon in all his glory was not cothed like one of these, if then GOD so clothe the grass which today is in the field and tomorrow is in the oven how much more will He clothe you of little faith.
Do not be concerned about tomorrow! Jesus is in full control of tomorrow. Keep your eyes on Jesus.
This is easter week and Angus will share much more about Easter time this week.
2 Cor 5:7 walk by faith and not by sight !

Leviticus 6:13 A fire shall always be burning on the altar.
Philippians 1 chapter 6 Jesus who began a good work in you will complete it.
Angus Buchan Thought for The Day 22 March 2020
Jill and I found Jesus as our personal Lord and Saviour on the 18th of February 1979, just two years after settling in Greytown, Kwa-Zulu Natal Midlands, South Africa. Originally from Zambia, we bought a piece of land on which we planned to farm crops and livestock. We had very little to start with but even as brand new Christians, we were content with our farm, which we later called SHALOM.
In 1980, the Lord gave us a vision - very simply and clearly, through His Word. We believed our responsibility to be the following:
The Great Commission - Mark 16:15
Everything undertaken at Shalom embraces this threefold vision and Shalom has become home to a community of families and believers who live and work as a team.
“SINCE THEN WE HAVEN’T TURNED BACK,
AND OUR LORD HAS REMAINED FAITHFUL.”
We felt the Lord call us to hire town halls and preach the Gospel, wherever He would lead. In 1990, we held our first campaign in Ladysmith, Kwa-Zulu Natal. I remember the feeling of pure excitement and anxiety as I walked into the municipal office to hire the town hall. Since then, we haven’t turned back, and our Lord has remained faithful. Upcoming Events
We are so blessed to see how our Lord has and is fulfilling His Vision in our lives. We trust you will also be able to seek God for your vision. That you will make it plain and write it on your heart (Habukuk 2 vs 2-3) and run with it.
Never forget the focus, JESUS CHRIST. He is your first priority... then family... then the work of the Lord.
